I. List of Business translator duties:

  1. Provide interpretation to Senior Executives.
  2. Must have a proficiency in SDL WorldServer.
  3. Be available for conference calls, phone discussions, WebEx and other communication means where interpretation is required.
  4. Ensure there is clear understanding of all meaning, intent and explanation on all interpretive work for the internal executives and leaders.
  5. Ensure there is an understanding of what information means and how it can be used, including for external use as needed.
  6. Provide translation support of executive written materials.
  7. Provide translation support to assist with both the preparation and outcome of key business meetings.

II. List of Business translator qualifications

  1. Coordination and Facilitation.
  2. Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  3. Certification is essential for this position.
  4. American Translators Association Certificate of Proficiency.
  5. Translation BA and/or MA degree from a Major University.
  6. International Translators Association - Certificate of Proficiency.
  7. Translator's Certification by any state court or the US Federal Court.
  8. Bachelor's degree is preferred
  9. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years
