I. List of Bilingual translator duties:

  1. Delivers an optimal guest experience, while managing all situations that may develop
  2. Communicates with Distributors, Media, Government Officials and Corporate staff
  3. Answers questions and/or finds the right answers to questions from staff and guests. Provides knowledgeable "off script" answers, as needed.
  4. Represents the company to Distributors, VIPs and the general public in a professional and informative manner by conducting educational tours of the Experience Center facilities, utilizing established tour routes, exhibits, and tour scripts.
  5. Independently leads/guides groups of up to 250 guests
  6. Learns tour scripts and shares that information verbally with the public in English or other language.
  7. Coordinates more than one group tour at a time
  8. Supports the maintenance and use of translation equipment and works with translators while on tours.
  9. Assists in planning, setup, and cleanup of all tours and special events.
  10. Maintains and cleans the displays on the tour route.
  11. Assists the Front Desk, Gift Shop and Event Team.
  12. Refills disposable cups and e-Spring water dispensers.
  13. Sanitizes e-Spring water dispensers

II. List of Bilingual translator qualifications

  1. High School diploma or GED
  2. At least 2 years of Interpretation/Translation experience in corporate environment (no tour guide/school office related experience)
  3. Simultaneous interpretation
  4. Experience in Manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
  5. Some business travel and evening conferences with Japan HQ will be involved
  6. Current US work authorization a MUST; we strongly prefer the candidates who has US permanent work authorization
